Duckdns Developer Docs v2.4.2 LTS

Integration & Best Practices

1. Secure Webhook Delivery & Verification

All webhook requests dispatched by Duckdns include a cryptographic signature in the X-Signature-SHA256 header.

# Verify HMAC SHA-256 in Python import hmac, hashlib def verify_signature(payload_bytes, signature_header, secret): expected = hmac.new(secret.encode(), payload_bytes, hashlib.sha256).hexdigest() return hmac.compare_digest(expected, signature_header)

2. High Availability Cluster Topology

To ensure 99.999% uptime, configure edge gateways across at least three availability zones. Use health-check probes with 3-second timeouts.

3. Low-Latency Network Socket Tuning

For continuous telemetry streams, set TCP keepalive parameters at the Linux kernel level:

sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_time=60 sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_intvl=10 sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_keepalive_probes=6
